Our goal is to bring a curated, diverse group of talented artisans together in downtown Hartwell to make their art more accessible. By providing direct access to artists, festival attendees can take the time to learn about the art, the process, and enjoy collecting art in a whole new way.
It is tactile, it enables personal connections, and it is fun!
Our festival is juried, meaning that our planning committee carefully reviews the applicants and their products, ensuring a shopping experience where attendees can count on seeing only original art and high quality, handmade products.
In addition to the fantastic event itself, the Hartwell Makers Festival is not about creating a profit for our ourselves. We are committed to give back to our community through each event. After our operational expenses for each festival are paid, all profit from sponsors and vendor fees is donated to a local non-profit. Beneficiaries in the past include the Hart County Humane Society, the Rome/Richardson Community Garden, and the REACH Hart Scholarship Program.
The Hartwell Makers Festival has become larger and popularity has grown with each event. We appreciate the excitement and support
of our community, our artisans, and our attendees as we work to
make the Hartwell Makers Festival one of the finest juried artisan shows in the Southeast!
There are so many ways to get involved with the Hartwell Makers Festival and support our arts community. Drop us a line to ask questions or to find out about how you can be involved through sponsorship & volunteer opportunities!
